Hair Inspiration

I apologise for the long break, I was away on holiday for two weeks finally catching me some sun! With the end of summer nearing I feel like it's time for a change in terms of hair. I had a nice golden balayage done to my hair because i felt it had a good summery vibe. Now with winter hitting i'm feeling a big change. Silver/Steel grey hair to be exact, which i'm currently in the process of getting to (and will blog about later). Anyway, here are a few other hair ideas I think are a little different and a little eye catching. Might be time to try something new! If you don't walk to go with semi permanent colours you can use hair chalk, or spray.

Perfume Picks

Sorry for the MIA! It wasn't intentional, just had a lot happening all at once and had to deal with it before returning to blogging. Anyway, enough of that, today's post isn't about what's been happening in my life but more about my top three perfume picks! Perfume is something I'm ridiculously fussy with. I tend to dislike most because they're either very floral, or too musky. I don't like either of those options. I do however have my top three perfumes that I adore and use on a daily basis. (Not all at once, don't worry.)

Purple Lipstick

I adore lipsticks. Adore. I have so many you could probably swim in them, this is my eyeliner. You know how most people can't go out of the house without eyeliner? For me it's lipstick. I don't care about anything else as much as I do this. It's just that thing that can really transform everything and make your entire face just, pop.
To be specific though my favourite lipsticks tend to be red or berry toned (which I'll talk about in another post), browns and purples! Yes, purple.

OOTD: All Black

You know when it's sunny out but windy? Well today was one of those days. Coming up with the right kind of balance with weather like that can be a challenge and a half. You'll feel both hot and cold at the same time because yes, that's totally possible.
I'm a big fan of black, if I get asked what my favourite colour is i'll always always say black. I'll argue that black is a colour even though really it's kind of a lack of one, but whatever, right?

I will find a way to wear black even when it's stupidly hot outside, I am that person. I wore my duster from Topshop, that they sold out of but you can find one like it on Ebay or Depop. Paired it with my satin joggers/pants from H&M, also sold out but you can buy ones like them here & black t shirt.
Completing my outfit were my lace up pointed flats from New Look if you can't find your size there are similar ones on Asos and sunglasses from River Island.

Ta-da! That's all folks. xox

LUSH: Oxford ST Haul

So as some of you may know (or not know), LUSH opened the biggest store in the world that is also their flagship store in Oxford Circus. I've been meaning to pay it a visit with my partner but we were waiting till we had enough money because we knew we would go absolutely crazy in there, and we did. The store was glorious. Every corner is packed with something amazing. It's three floors of beautiful products for every single thing you need. This store has exclusive items, and have released more than 200 new products. The first floor has shampoos, styling creams, body stuff for hands and feet, shower gels, makeup and soaps. The second has bath bombs, oils and gift sets, and the ground floor is of course the amazing spa, perfume and massage section. The best part is everything is pretty much made of natural elements, and the brand itself fights against animal testing. They're handmade, vegetarian, and totally fresh. Not to mention they recycle so if you have any empty lush pots take them in. You'll get that same product for free, and help the environment.

May: Glossybox

So today I got my first long awaited Glossybox in the post and thought I would do a review on it. Glossybox is a monthly beauty box full of little 5 samples and full sized products that gets sent to your door for you to check out. It's really a great way to try out products you haven't before, all for the price of £10 a month. The packaging is lovely as you can see above, comes in a pretty pink box that i'm definitely keeping to use for other things and beautiful pink paper. It actually comes delivered in another polka dot box to keep this one nice and safe.

Favourite Highlighting Products

Highlighters are probably my second favourite thing right after lipsticks. I'm hooked on having a nice shimmer and glow to my face. It's probably one thing I really don't like leaving the house without having on, especially in summer. Summer is just that time of the year for you to be tan and have a little shimmer to your skin. Anyway, I thought I would share with you guys my favourite highlighters to use.

Favourite Photographers

I don't know if it's just me or all the really badly angled, overly airbrushed and overtly bland photos i've seen lately but good photography seems like its become a dying breed. Too many weird myspace angles and "arty filters" have been popping up too much in what is meant to be professional photography. Nowadays everyone waves their shiny DSLR around without knowing how to use it (setting everything on auto mode) and calls themselves a photographer. A hobbyist, fine, but doing it as a career and not knowing anything about it? Well... As a photographer, I thought I would make a post about my favourite photographers out there and share some of the incredible work that they've produced. -Also how many times have I said "photographer" in this post? :')-

Wardrobe Essentials

A good wardrobe selection is essential to every girl. You want it to be versatile but still show off who you are. Items for all kinds of occasions should be around. I really enjoy removing everything from my closet, getting rid of what I no longer wear and organising it again. I highly recommend you do this every 6 months or so otherwise you just hoard stuff you won't wear. The space could be used for things you could get and will wear. More importantly you want to be able to have some wardrobe staples. So here is a list of 10 things you need in your wardrobe, and 5 must have shoes.

LUSH Review: The Sacred Truth

The ultimate face mask. I have been through my fair share of them and I can tell you now, this is by far the best. I tried Oatifix, Cosmetic Warrior, Brazened Honey and Ayesha, none of them did anything for me when compared to The Sacred Truth.
